Introduction

Linked Open Limburg turns Limburgish cultural-heritage collections into a single, searchable knowledge graph of linked open data.

Source datasets, starting in 2026 with five datasets, are harmonized to SCHEMA-AP-NDE, indexed into Typesense by the LDE pipeline, and served through open APIs.

Status

Early work in progress. Follow along in the issue tracker; the codebase lives at limburg/lol on Codeberg.

How it fits together

• @lol/search-schema – the engine-neutral SearchSchema (CreativeWork, Person) that drives projection, indexing, and the API.
• search-indexer – the LDE pipeline that reads the datasets, looks up the terms they align to through the Network of Terms, and writes documents into the search index.
• docs – this site, published to Codeberg Pages at linkedopenlimburg.nl.
